Don’t you wish sometimes that you could hit the rewind button and go back to the beginning? This show gives the audience that opportunity. “Rewind” is one big palindrome as both the music and drill appears (almost) exactly backwards from the midpoint of the show. Movements change from clockwise to counter-clockwise and the music is very literally in inverted retrograde in the second half of the show. Your floor can be a mirror image of itself or a large graphic that represents rewinding. Costumes can be colorful and fun, with the use of contrasting shapes or colors. Props could possibly include decorations that portray the rewind effect such as spirals or arrows that go back and forth. “Rewind” grooves from beginning to end, and back!
