In times of strife or uncertainty, it is easy to beat yourself up – to think you’re not good enough. It is even easier to forget that despite all of our differences we are born with one very important thing in common: potential – and lots of it. What seems difficult, at times, is remembering that this potential for greatness lies within us all. Using the music of “A Light from Within”, you can present your audience with a roadmap to reaching their potential (and don’t forget what a great life-lesson this would make for your students also!). You can use the following suggestions as your inner motivation, edit them and use them as voice-overs throughout your production, or use them as inspirational backdrops.
Your costuming for “A Light Within” can range from classic to contemporary. Your color scheme should be bright, colorful and easy on the eyes. Your flag colors can reflect the change in the mood (vibrant opener, dark and moody ballad, return to vibrant for the closer).
