This contemporary arrangement by Alex Yoder intersperses pit/percussion led phrases with solid musical scoring. Many of the phrases of the opener and closer are developed with an initial ostinato melodic line and then joined by countermelodies and other layers which are added to the texture to create the same "miniature" beginning to end. The lush ballad creates a reflective and somber mood. Alex Yoder's musical book could be a perfect fit for younger or less experienced bands that are seeking a highly competitive field show.
