Using classic melodies of Irish Folk Tunes, this show is strongly themed, crowd friendly, and yet very playable by a younger or smaller group. Starting with a classic “Danny Boy” fanfare and including a dramatic “Greensleeves” closer, the music throughout is upbeat and strongly Irish sounding. This original marching band show finds interesting ways to present these traditional Irish tunes and jigs using all the tone colors and musical combinations available in today’s wind ensemble. The perfect marching band show for small bands, this show is happy and energetic, with a strong flair and tone that audiences will love.
